Welcome to Baytown Sports
Baytown, Texas Parks & Recreation
The City of Baytown's Parks and Recreation Department provides numerous athletic opportunities for all ages and all levels of experience through sports programs, leagues, clinics, expos, and more. We aim to enrich the community by providing and maintaining a high standard of programming and facilities for residents and visitors to connect, play, and grow.
We aim to provide year-round sports such as adult leagues (slowpitch softball, ragball, kickball, soccer, and volleyball), youth leagues (summer track, fall soccer, and spring fastpitch softball), as well as open play sports (pickleball and volleyball). In addition to league play, there are countless growth opportunities through lessons in various sports such as tennis, pickleball, volleyball, and more.
Annual special events that involve the entire community are Baytown’s Turkey Trot 5K (every November), Baytown’s Sports Expo (every January) and the Special Olympics of Texas (every April). These events continue to grow every year and keep the community connected.
There are numerous parks and amenities available for the community to stay active with leisure sports as well. Duke Hill Park (1400 Riggs St, Baytown) offers disc golf, foot golf, and futsal soccer while Jenkins Park (4334 Crosby Cedar Bayou Rd, Baytown) offers a soccer arena, disc golf course, and running trails.
